In the contem-porary national instrumental music, many works are derived from Jiangnan folk music, among which folk songs, folk art forms, oper-as, folk instrumental provide valuable materials for the creation of contemporary ethnic instrumental music. The music materials composed and processed by composers become national instrumental music works inheriting the Jiangnan style and characterized by instrumental music.
