底层与草根：贾平凹与新加坡作家怀鹰自传体写作比较

摘要

通过对中国作家贾平凹与新加坡作家怀鹰华文自传体写作的比较分析,可以洞见中华传统的＂根深蒂固＂与其海外流变。同样是平民叙事,贾平凹所着力刻画的是＂底层＂农民备受屈辱中＂出人头地＂的艰难,其对农民＂德性＂的开掘有深刻的文化意义,拓展了文学创作与批评的视域;怀鹰所倡扬的是＂草根＂一族的独立意识与＂自在人格＂。前者的创作动因多源于父系的历史积淀与集体记忆;后者的选择则体现了移民国个体民众的散居独立,是中华文化在母系教诲中传承流变的一种体现。%From the comparative analysis of autobiographical writing of Singaporean writer Huai Ying and Jia Pingwa,we can see the deep-rooted Chinese tradition and evolution abroad.As for civilians narrative,Jia Pingwa focused on the hardships of ＂underlying＂ peasant and expanded the view of literature and criticism through ＂moral character＂.By contrast,Huai Ying developed sense of independence and ＂free personality＂ of ＂grass roots＂.The writing style of the former was rooted in patriarchal history and collective memory;whereas the choice of the latter embodied the independence of immigrants,and the heritage and evolution of Chinese culture in the matrilineal history.
