Chomsky criticizes empiricism and behaviorism,and insists on rationalist tradition;Descartes’s “Theory of Innate Ideas”and Humboldt’s creative use of language are the essence of Chomsky’s linguistic ideas and political thought.This article will explore how Chomsky inherits Descartes’s and Homboldt’s ideas,overcomes their limitations,and analyzes Chomsky’s rationalism and its characteristics.%乔姆斯基批评经验主义和行为主义，始终坚持的是唯理主义的传统思想，尤其是笛卡尔的“天赋观念说”和洪堡特的语言使用的创造性论述更是乔姆斯基的语言学和政治学研究的来源。因此，本文探讨乔姆斯基如何继承和发展了笛卡尔、洪堡特思想，以及其唯理主义的思想与特点。
