中国制造业企业的技术创新活动——社会资本的作用

摘要

This paper introduces the sociological concept of social capital, and finds that technological innovation level is positively influenced by our different lev- el of social capital. This paper finds that, in the provinces with higher level of so- cial capital, enterprises tend to increase innovative activities both for innovative in- put and output level. There is an substitute effect between social capital and law protection on the innovative activities. The social capital is reinforced by the share of domestic equity. Further study shows that, with a higher level of innovative activities, the higher level of innovation return. This effect is stronger when the enterprise locates in the provinces with high level of social capital.%本文引入“社会资本”这一社会学概念，从微观层面证实了我国各省份社会资本水平差异对企业技术创新的促进作用。研究发现，无论是从创新投入还是从产出来看，在社会资本较高的省份，企业表现出更高的技术创新水平。结合制度环境和产权背景的分析显示，在法律保护水平较低的地区，社会资本发挥了替代作用；内资股权比例越高，社会资本对于企业技术创新的促进作用越明显。进一步研究发现，社会资本增加了企业的技术创新回报。
