摘要

T racing back the genealogy of beholding , the essay covers the philosophical , aesthetic and ideological features of beholding at different historical periods . In Greek mythology , beholding , together with language , was a technique of subject producing , constructing and manipulating ;Greek philosophy established the beholding logic of presentation , with the result of subject-object dichotomy ;Phenomenology tried in vain to bridge the gap between subject and object through intentionality perceiving ;In their criticizing of modernity ,Walter Benjamin beheld modernity alienatedly ,while Michel Foucault ,found the power mechanism of seeing in modernity ;today , the society of the spectacle enriches and deepens the study of beholding .%在古希腊神话中，观看与语言同谋而成为主体生产、建构和处理的技术；古希腊哲学确立了表象的观看逻辑，也造就了主客二分的隐患；现象学通过意向直观来弥合主客二分的鸿沟，却陷入更深的分裂之中；批判现代性的哲学家本雅明溢出现代性之外去观看，而福柯则深入其中去研究“看”的权力机制；因此，观看不仅是哲学的姿态、美学的态度、意识形态的操控，也是看与被看的辩证运动、主体的建构与规训、社会的批判力量。观看的研究在景观社会的今天还将更加丰富和深入。
