工程陶瓷用孕镶金刚石钻头的性能优化

     

摘要

To improve the drilling efficiency and tool life of diamond-impregnated bits on its drilling of holes in engineering ceramic, this paper studies the bit performance optimally. The wear mechanism of diamond-impregnated bits on its drilling of holes in alumina engineering ceramic is analyzed. With higher quality diamond grains as well as new matrix composition and manufacturing technology being used, four kinds of bits are produced. Drilling tests and scanning electron microscope analysis show:higher quality diamond grains can increase the proportion of working grains and enhance the drilling performance; the four kinds of bits perform different worn performances, the bit with matrix composition of Cu5OCo25Sn18Ti7 (wt%)shows the higher diamond protrusive heights and higher diamond retention to the matrix, the matching performances of the wearing rates of diamond grains and matrix are good, the comprehensive drilling performance of the bit is the best,and the drilling efficiency and tool life are improved about 1.4 and 7 times than others.%为提高孕镶金刚石钻头加工工程陶瓷时的钻进效率、延长工具寿命,对钻头性能进行了优化研究.分析了孕镶金刚石钻头加工氧化铝工程陶瓷的磨损机理,采用更高品质的金刚石磨粒和新的胎体配方及制造技术研制了四种钻头.钻削试验及扫描电镜分析表明:高品质金刚石磨粒可有效提高工作磨粒的比例,提升钻进性能;四种钻头的磨损性能各不相同,采用Cu50Co25Sn18Ti7(wt%)胎体配方钻头的金刚石磨粒出刃高度高,胎体与磨粒的粘结性能好,胎体磨损速度与金刚石磨损速度匹配性较好,钻头的钻削综合性能最好,其加工效率和工具寿命较其它钻头分别提高了近1.4倍和7倍.
