分裂的“自我”传记——以维吉尼亚·伍尔夫为例

     

摘要

When writing their autobiographies, countless autobiographers self in that the practice has something to do with their dissociation. The are bewildered by the life of Virginia Woolf, certitude of autobiography it a British writer, is perplexed by her ego, her endless search for and interrogation of ego. Accordingly, all her works can be thought of as her autobiogra- phies. However, she tries to differentiate among personal ego, social ego and literary ego, in an effort to remove the autobio- graphic trace. Such self-struggle of dissociation can be repeatedly found in her diaries, correspondences, novels, and autobio- graphic raphy' s are real essays. It is ego dissociation that makes her doubt the possibility of autobiographies. Her queries relating to autobiog possibility does not necessarily lead her to vigorously uphold autobiography. Instead, autobiographies, in her eyes literature.%无数自传作者在撰写自传的同时,也在怀疑自传,自传作家对待自传的态度是极其暧昧的,其原因是书写自传时与自我的分裂相关。英国女作家维吉尼亚·伍尔夫一生都被自我所纠缠,对自我不停地探索和拷问,她的所有作品都可看作是自传。维吉尼亚·伍尔夫一直小心地将私人的自我、社会的自我、文学的自我隔离开来,并努力地在作品中抹去传记的痕迹。这种分裂的自我斗争一直在她的日记、通信集和小说、自传体随笔中不断地出现。正是因为自我的分裂,使其认为自传的不可能。然而这种对自传可能性的质疑,并未影响其对自传的高度评价,她认为自传属于真正的文学。
