To investigate the diagnostic and therapeutic value of bronchoscopy in children with recurrent cough and wheezing and to assess the safety .Methods:A total of 178 children with recurrent cough and wheezing for more than 1 month were chosen for bronchoscopy ,which were admitted to pediatric pulmonary department of the first people’s hospital in Chenzhou from May 2010 to March 2013 .The clinic data were analyzd retrospectively .Results:A-mong 149 cases ,the most common findings were bronchial endocarditis (107 cases) ,accounted for 60 .11% ,among which 93 were simply bronchial endocarditis ,combined with bronchus aperture dropsy and inflammatory narrowness (6 cases) ,airway inflammatory nodules (1 case) ,combined with sputum bolt block (7 cases) ,among which 4 cases had been formed plastic bronchitis ;The second cause was congenital tracheobronchial abnormalities ,which accured in 57 ca-ses ,accounting for 32 .02% ;The third cause was foreign bodies in the airway (9 cases) ,accounting for 5 .06% .Transi-ent complications were occurred in only 24 cases of 178 patients in intraoperative or postoperative and the incidence was 13 .48% .Conclusion:The fiber bronchoscope can be significant help for diagnosis and therapy of diseases with repeated-ly cough and wheezing .%目的：探讨纤维支气管镜术在儿童反复咳喘疾病诊治中的作用及其安全性进行评估。方法：对我科2010年5月-2013年3月收治的178例反复咳嗽、喘息，病程在1个月以上的患儿行纤维支气管镜检查和治疗的临床资料进行综合分析。结果：178例“咳喘原因待查”患儿支气管镜检查镜下最常见的为支气管内膜炎，共107例，占60．11％，其中单纯支气管内膜炎93例，合并支气管开口水肿、炎性狭窄的6例，气道炎性结节1例，合并痰栓阻塞7例，其中4例已形成塑形支气管炎；镜检第二位病因为先天性气道畸形，共57例，占32．02％；镜检第三位病因为气道异物，共9例，占5．06％。178例患者中仅24例患儿出现术中或术后一过性并发症，发生率13．48％。结论：纤维支气管镜检查术可以为临床反复咳喘患儿的诊治提供很多帮助，且安全、可靠、直接。
