@@In recent years, Nanobiotechnology has been widely used in the diagnosis and treatment of Diseases. Our research group is working on nanobiotechnology with an emphasis on diagnostic agents and drug/gene delivery system of the cancers and other diseases. Based on selecting the appropriate type of quantum dots (QDs), we developed a novel method to enhance quantum yield of silica-coated quantum dots for biodetection (Nanotechnology, 19: 465604: 465612, 2008). This paper has been download more than 250 times after being published within three month. In addition, we studied on the facile fabrication of multi-colors high Fluorescent/superparamagnetic nanoparticles (Journal of Colloid and Interface Science, 322 (2): 484-489, 2008) and developed a novel method to make hydrophilic quantum dots and applied them on biodetection (Materials Science & Engineering B, 149 (1): 87-92, 2008). Furthermore, we did research work on Quantum Dots/Particle-based Immunofluorescence assay: synthesis, characterization and application (Journal of Photochemistry and Photobiology B, 94, 45-50, 2009).
