高中教师代数教学知识的调查研究

         

摘要

"Teaching algebra for all" has been advocated by mathematics education reformers for decades. However, it is still a pressing challenge to equip teachers with appropriate knowledge needed for teaching algebra. We examined the status and features of Chinese secondary mathematics teachers' knowledge of algebra for teaching in the context of curriculum reform in China. Fifty-five high school experienced mathematics teachers completed the questionnaire on teachers' knowledge of algebra for teaching (KAT). These sampled teachers demonstrated the following features in their KAT: the sampled Chinese mathematics teachers have strong algebraic computation knowledge and skills but have weakness in understanding of students' learning, and understanding of the concept of function from a modem mathematics perspective. The implications of these findings for mathematics teacher education in China are discussed.%代数是中学数学课程的重要部分.在高等代数知识方面,教师能理解一些基础而重要的概念,并掌握公式算法.但理解涉及逻辑知识的一些符号表示的复合命题时有困难.在学校代数知识方面,大多数教师显示出扎实的代数基础知识与技能,特别是常规问题的解法明确,运算准确.高中数学教师具体较为扎实的学校代数与高等数学中有关代数的知识,但在理解学生的学习困难,错误概念等方面有待提高。
