舞钢地区的冶铁业自春秋战国而延续至今,形成了以冶铁文化为主的丰厚文化遗产.传统的冶铁文化给人们留下了深刻而丰富的历史记忆,并在现代也得到了传承与创新,造就了现今舞钢市"中国冶铁文化之都"的地位.舞钢市作为一个新兴的工业城市,对有着厚重底蕴的传统冶铁文化进行历史追溯,揭示其冶铁文化本身的发展与社会的发展关系以及现代传承保护现状,具有很强的现实意义.%The Iron Smelting industry inWugang has been existing since the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period,now it has formed a rich cultural heritage centered on iron smelting culture. The tra-ditional iron smelting culture has impressed people deeply in the history, and also has been inherited and inno-vated in modern times, which fuels Wugang's rise as the City of Iron SmeltingCulture in China today. Since Wugang is an emerging industrial city, it will have a strong practical significance by dating back to itshistory of traditional iron smelting culture,revealing the relationship between the development of iron smelting cul-ture and the development ofsociety, and its protection and inheritance in modern times.
