Many places have carried out reforms about the entrance examination for senior high schools in China currently,and people have different views about this.This paper thinks we should clarify four focus questions which closely interconnected with reformation before research reformation of the examination： test or not test,what to test,how to test and how to recruit students.The reformation of the examination will obtain good results only if the four questions are clarified.First,the evaluation and filtering capabilities of graduation and entering a higher school determine that the examination not be canceled at this stage in junior high schools.Secondly,the setting of examination subjects must be able to promote the development of students＇ overall quality,and the degree of difficulty about examination content must be reasonable.Thirdly,it＇s not suitable for using the model of the open-book examination,the comprehensive examination of arts and the comprehensive examination of science in elementary and junior high schools in order to prevent the early formation of the concept about dividing of art and science which affects the comprehensiveness of the basic knowledge.Finally,no matter what method of recruiting we choose,we should pay attention to the fairness.%当前我国许多地方都在进行中考改革,人们对于这些改革的意见不一,评价也不一。要研究中考改革,必须厘清下面四个与改革密切相关的焦点问题：考不考？考什么？怎样考？怎样招？只有厘清了这四个问题,中考改革才能取得实效。首先,初中阶段的毕业和升学所需要的评价与筛选功能决定了现阶段中考不能取消;其次,考试科目的设置一定要能够促进学生全面素质的发展,考试内容的难易度设计一定要合理;再次,在中小学阶段不适合采用开卷考试以及文科综合和理科综合的考试方式,以防止过早地形成文理分科现象,从而影响学生基础知识的全面掌握;最后,无论采用何种招录方式都要注意公平性。
