College Entrance Examination and College Admission have always been the focus and discussion of all the people in China .Both the future of the test takers and the development of the national college ed-ucation rely heavily on the Application System and the Admission System .A scientific admission system will on one hand works as an effective mechanism to ensure equal education opportunities for all students , especially w hen the educational resources are so limited ,and on the other hand allow the test takers as many wishes as possible .At present ,Parallel Wish Pattern has been adopted in many provinces ,and some even have started Parallel Admission Pattern .A close look into the Parallel Admission Pattern in regards of its theories ,concepts ,modes ,prerequisites ,conditions and security mechanisms will provide insight and throw light on the possibility of the realization of the Parallel Admission Pattern for the w hole coun-try .%高考及其录取一直以来都受到社会各界的关注，高考录取是高等院校招生录取制度的重要环节。志愿填报制度和录取制度与考生的未来、高等教育的发展都息息相关。合理而又科学的录取制度关系到如何在我国教育资源总量有限的情况下，既公平高效地选拔具有培养潜质的考生，又为考生提供尽量多的自主选择空间的问题。目前有相当数量的省市已经实行了“平行志愿”的志愿填报方式，还有少数省市开始试行平行录取制度，这为高考实行平行录取制度奠定了基础。在此背景下，研究平行录取的理论基础、基本概念与模式、已经具备的条件，以及所需的机制保障等内容具有重要意义，可以为高考实行平行录取制度的改革提供一些建议和思路。
