创业是创新的过程和载体，创新则是创业的本质和手段。大众创业、万众创新，归根到底还是创新的问题，尤其是大学创新的问题。因为创新驱动的实质是人才驱动，只有当高等教育能够持续、成规模地为社会输送创新型人才的时候，才能使创新创业真正成为解决经济转型和社会发展道路上一系列问题的有效手段。以拿来主义的方式借鉴西方大学的创新精神固然是一个方面，但更重要的是发掘和捍卫中国大学和教育发展历程中并不少见的创新元素和传统，重新树立中国大学创新的宗旨和精神。也只有根植于本土和自身文化中的创新精神，才最容易成为全社会和整个民族的共同理念。%Entrepreneurship is a process and a carrier of innovation and innovation is the essence of entrepre‐neurship .Public entrepreneurship and innovation ,in the final analysis is the issue of innovation ,especially the university innovation .Because the essence of innovation is talent driven ,only w hen the higher educa‐tion can continue to provide a large number of innovative talents can innovation truly become an effective means to solve a series of economic and social development problems . Learning the spirit of innovation from foreign universities is one aspect ,but it’s more important to explore innovative elements of Chinese universities ,and rebuild the spirit of innovation in Chinese universities .Only spirit of innovation rooted in local culture can become a common idea of the w hole society and the w hole nation .
