Reading occupies an important position in the second language teaching, but the current higher vocational education fails to produce due results in reading teaching. This is because most teachers still adopt the traditional way of reading teaching, attach great importance to the translation and explanation of reading materials, ignoring the text material itself and the cultivation of students' reading skills.
