公共英语教学中的学生职业核心能力培养刍议

             

摘要

Core occupational competence refers to the basic skills suitable for all kinds of professions, including self-learning and other seven skills, and provides necessities for practitioners' sustainable development. For the purpose of changing the old image of higher vocational English teaching, giving it new ideas and training students to be practical talents with both expertise and occupational skills, it is strongly recommended that students' core occupational skills should be strengthened while linguistic knowledge and techniques are taught. It points out the new direction of teaching reform and development of higher vocational English from three aspects of the inherent connection of public English teaching and professional core competence, the significance of its combination and training strategies.%职业核心能力是包括自我学习等八种除岗位专业能力之外的适用于各种职业的基本能力,为从业者的可持续发展提供必要的条件。为了颠覆高职公共英语课程的旧形象,开创高职公共英语教学的新思路,打造专业能力与职业能力并存的应用型职业人才,高职公共英语教学在传授语言知识与技能的同时,必须要加强对学生职业核心能力的培养。从高职公共英语教学与职业核心能力的内在联系、二者结合的现实意义以及培养策略三个方面,指明高职公共英语教学改革与发展的新方向。
