<红楼梦》外貌类形容词语翻译及其对比分析

摘要

以古典文学外貌类形容词语及其英译作为研究对象，通过对《红楼梦》人物头发、眉眼、唇齿、鼻子、脸面五个方面的形容词语及在典范全英译本的译例对比分析，探索汉英翻译中外貌类形容词语的翻译技巧。%This paper regards the adjectives of personal appearance and its English translation in classical works as the research target , aiming to dig out the translating strategy in personal adjectives for Chinese-English transla-tion via the personal adjectives and its contrastive analysis in model translating versions of A Dream of Red Man-sion.Five types of personal adjectives will be analyzed in this research , namely, adjectives for hair, eyes and brows, lips, noses, and faces.
