英语诗歌中的头韵应用解析

Alliteration is one of the most important devices in phonetic rhetoric, which implies musical beauty and regular beauty of language. Appropriate use of alliteration can be full of strong expressive and infective forces. Alliteration is widely used in poetry, prose, headlines, advertisements, idioms and so on. This paper mainly explores the rhetorical effect and classification of alliteration in English poetry, and makes a brief statement about the English to Chinese transla- tion of poetic alliteration.%头韵是英语语音修辞手段之一,它蕴含了语言的音乐美和整齐美,具有很强的表现力和感染力。恰当地使用头韵使得语言声情交融、音义一,因此头韵在诗歌、散、新闻、广告、习语中被广泛应用。本文主要研究诗歌中头韵的分类及其修辞效果,并对诗歌中头韵的英汉翻译技巧进行了阐释。
