《诗经·召南·甘棠》臆说

Odes and satires are one of the important lyrical themes in Book of Songs. However, among the poems concerning politics, the vast majority we see belong to the blaming and satire poetry. Except for the epics and odes in Da Ya and Xiao Ya, there are few true odes and satiresl Anyway, Gan Tang chosen from Zhao Nan is one of the few. To acquire a correct understanding of the poem, it＇s important to determine the relationship between Zhao Gongshi or Zhao Bohu and Gan Tang, to discuss its theme and means of presentation.%《诗经》中的美刺诗是其重要的抒情主题之一。然而，在与政治有关的诗歌作品里，绝大多数属于怨刺诗。除去《大雅》和《小雅》中那些用于庙堂祭祀的史诗和颂诗外，很难再找到真正意义上的颂美诗，而《召南·甘棠》就是这为数不多的政治颂美诗之一。厘定召公爽或召伯虎与《甘棠》的关系，探讨《甘棠》表现的主旨及其表达方式，是正确解读此诗的管键。
