批评话语分析视角下的主观报道倾向与中国国家形象建构

摘要

以美国《时代》周刊中国援助菲律宾海燕台风的相关报道为语料，运用批评话语分析中的过度词化、重新词化、选择性真实和意识方块对新闻标题和主要新闻事件所建构的中国负面形象进行了分析，指出意识形态分歧、美国的价值观念和国家利益决定了美国媒体对华报道的中国负面形象建构倾向和报道偏见。%From the perspective of national image construction, this paper makes a critical discourse analysis of TIME’s related reports on China’s donation to Philippines, with the aim to discover the strategies used by reporters in constructing China’s negative image. The paper also adopted the major concepts of overlexicalization, relexicalization, selective reporting and ideological square in CDA to analyze reporters’ subjective inclination in headlines and narration of major news events and holds that ideological differences, the U.S. national values and interests are the determining factors in China’s negative image construction and biased coverage.
