韦勒克的文学史观

摘要

Wellk's conception of literature refers to the unity of literary theory, literary criticism, literary theory and literary research method. He holds that literature has its independence and uniqueness, the first of literary research should be the literature study itself, should not regard the literature research confused with other related disciplines, or use of other disciplines to instead of literary studies. Wellk attachs great importance to the work itself, pay attention to the meaning of"type history","standard system"on the literature history, the study of literary history is undoubtedly very innovative. The defect of Wellk’s viewpoint on the history of literature is not to combine"external study"with"internal research".%　　韦勒克的文学观主要是把文学理论、文学批评、文学史理论与文学研究方法融为一体。他认为文学具有其独立性和独特性，文学研究处于第一位的应该是对文学本身的研究，不应该把文学的研究同其他相关学科的研究混同起来，或者用对其他学科的研究代替对文学的研究。韦勒克重视对作品本身的研究、重视“类型史”、“规范体系”对文学史的意义，这对文学史的研究无疑是很有创新意义的。韦勒克文学史观的缺陷在于未能把“外部研究”和“内部研究”结合起来。
