In an age of science and technology developed, multimedia technology has become more and more developed, people's communication style are also constantly updated, presents the characteristics of the multimodal. Here, it is worth mentioning that how modal is also reflected in the university teaching, especial y in col ege English intensive reading teaching is gradual y being used. After the reform of col ege English, in-class and after-class, network and so on multimodal teaching gradual y took to the class. Should note that in the process of multimodal teaching mode, teachers should coordinate cooperation between each pattern, do a good job of interaction between teachers and students, which not only improve the students' classroom enthusiasm, also gives students a chance to show themselves.
