《喜福会》中国母亲在男权社会和种族歧视下的他者形象

摘要

借助“他者”这一概念分析了喜福会的中国母亲们在当时中国美国的男权社会中的遭遇，她们完全失去了自我，成了沉默，服从的他者；同时在美国还遭受着种族歧视，成了异域的他者。%By the concept of “the other” ,this article analyzes the sufferings of Chinese mothers in the patriarchal society of China and the US in The Joy Luck Club .They completely lose themselves and be‐come silent and obedient others .In the meantime ,they suffer from racial discrimination and become others in the exotic land .
