关于EFL课堂元语言的界定

摘要

Metalanguage in EFL classroom can be defined in terms of the universality as descriptive and interpretive language, artificial language in natural form, language highlighting discourse characteristics and language includinglinguistic knowledge and competence. This exploration can help the development of metalingual theory as well as the theory and practice of foreign language teaching.%从元语言的普遍性特征出发，EFL课堂中基于教学内容的语言为元语言，是描写和解释语言的语言、具有自然语言形式的人工语言、突显语篇特征的语言及兼顾语言知识和能力的语言。这不仅是元语言研究的重要课题，而且有助于外语课堂教学理论与实践的发展。
