祈使句表示命令、请求、建议、禁止、催促、号召等等意义。安陆方言的祈使句有其常用的特定格式，包括“把”字类祈使句、“莫”字类祈使句、“吵”字类祈使句、“招呼”祈使句、“着”字祈使句。%Imperative sentences express commands, requests, suggestions, prohibitions, urges and appeals.
