沙博理文化身份下的翻译行为--《春蚕》译本个案分析

As an American -born Chinese Jew,Sidney Shapiro's special cultural identity has a significant impact on the process of his translation.Based on his translation of Mao Dun's work,Spring Silkworms,this paper explores the relationship between his cultural identity and translation behavior.By the analysis,the paper points out that Sidney Shapiro's dual cultural identity influences his concept of translation,translation purposes,thereby affecting his choice of the translation strategies.%作为一名出生于美国的中国籍犹太人，沙博理特殊的双重文化身份对其在翻译作品的过程中产生了重要的影响。本文以沙博理这一具有双重文化身份的翻译家为研究对象，以他翻译的茅盾作品《春蚕》为载体，探讨其文化身份与翻译行为之间的关系。通过分析，本文指出沙博理这一杂糅的文化身份影响着他的翻译目的，进而影响他翻译过程中翻译策略的选择。
