＂Infinite possibility in literature＂ is a kind of special literary quality that originates from the ancient time and lasts until today.Among many post-modernist writers,the Argentine poet and novelist Borges consciously heads towards the infinite,describing a number of levels of ＂infinite possibility＂ in his short novels,like the dream and the labyrinth,spatio-temporal view and view of the universe,the direction the world and man as well as readers＇ acceptance,thus taking ＂infinite possibility＂ to the extreme.%＂文学的无限可能性＂是一种渊源于古代且一直存在的特殊文学品格。在后现代主义的众多作家中,阿根廷诗人和小说家博尔赫斯在其短篇小说创作中,自觉地走向无限,描述了梦与迷宫、时空观和宇宙观、世界与人的走向、读者接受等数个＂无限可能性＂层次,从而将文学的无限可能性推向极致。
