Manshui by Wang Yuewen is a regionalism novel “describing life temporarily cut off from the modern world” , which can be noticed through the beauty of human affection , the beauty of humanity and the beauty of personality in the novel . The beauty of affection is reflected on love which is not rooted in sex , on familial affection which is not expressed through words and on hometown affection which has nothing to do with competition . The beauty of human affection in Manshui originates from its beautify of humanity which desires nothing and is shown in the peaceful philosophy of life and death , the persistent carefree simple lifestyle and the self abnegation and restraint in the aspects of materialism , emotion and morality .%王跃文的《漫水》是其“暂时脱离尘世”的乡土书写，表现在小说中展现的人情美、人性美、人格美之上。而人情美体现在“不在情爱”的爱情、“真爱不言”的亲情和“和谐无争”的乡情上。漫水的人情美来自于“去欲自守”的人性美，表现在平和泰然的生死观；坚定恒一、悠然简朴的生活习惯；物欲、情感、道德上的自我克制、自我约束上。
