The variational relation of the ground - state energy E0 of the bound polaron with the coulomb bound potential β, the electron- LO phonon coupling strength or, the well - width d and Lagrange multiplier u is derived. The results of numerical calculation show that the ground- state energy E0 will decrease with increasing the electron- LO phonon coupling strength or, the Coulomb bound potential/3, the well -width d and Lagrange multiplier u.
