Allegorized writing is an important feature of the root - seeking novels, including the writing of the spirit of the Chinese nation, the fate of China in traditional culture and modern culture and the ultimate question of the mankind＇ s existence. It was borrowed from Western literature in the same period and continued the heritage of modern Chinese literature.
