One of the key issues for the design of digital games is to deal with the contradiction between metaphysical("Road") and concrete("device").It shows as the different requests for game products(philosophy versus practicality),the different approach to game concept(top-down versus bottom-up),different constraints for game development(cultural versus technical).In order to deal with these relations properly,we have to learn from western research on these issues in the early 21st Century.%如何处理形而上("道")和形而下("器")之矛盾,是数码游戏设计的关键问题之一。它表现在游戏产品哲学化和实用化的不同要求、游戏观念自上而下与自下而上的不同定位、游戏开发文化与技术的不同约束等方面。21世纪西方对上述问题的研究成果值得我们借鉴。
