中国现代文学发端语境下的五四小说艺术变革

摘要

Novels in “the May 4th Movement”period were created in the historical background of the turning era of cultural interaction between China and the west and eradicating the old and fostering the new,when the writers undertook the responsibility and mission to revitalize the Chinese national spirit and change the backwardness of Chinese traditional culture.Meeting the demand of the turning times,these novels inherited the traits of folksy language and conformed to the popular psychological habits of Chinese readers,broke through the traditional concept of novels and barriers of the narrative patterns.They succeeded in fulfilling the enlightening mission of the modern novels in the process of changing intrinsic stereotypes of Chinese novels, thus created the modern Chinese novels which still thrive today.%五四小说发生于中西交汇、破旧立新的时代转折背景下，历史语境中的五四小说家们肩负着解决近代以来中国民族精神衰微与中国传统文化落后的责任与使命，其小说实践在契合社会变革诉求与“人的觉醒”的时代脉搏中，承袭小说民间私语特质与中国读者大众阅读心理习惯，突破传统小说观念、叙事方式等藩篱，在改变中国小说固有形态中完成现代小说启蒙使命，从而正式开创了延续至今的中国现代小说。
