浮云游子意落日故人情--评“旅中作家”刘荒田《两山笔记》

摘要

美籍华人作家刘荒田先生的新著《两山笔记》，以“浮云游子意，落日故人情”为主线，以旧金山叙事思想家的视角，出于故土情缘与文化重负，饱含深情且客观理性地表现他所轮流居住的两个国家、两个城市(旧金山和佛山)的两种人生，并对两种文化进行观照和比较，体现出久久浸泡于西方文明的中国人的思想魅力和资深海外华文文学写作者所达到的散文新高度、新境界。%A Diary of Two Cities, a new book by Liu Hunagtian, a Chinese-American writer, is centered on the clue of one’ s nostalgic love for one’ s hometown. From the perspective of a narrative thinker in San Francisco as well as based on his love for his hometown and his cultural responsibility, Mr. Liu emotionally and objectively describes in the book his two life styles in two cities-San Francisco and Fushan-in two countries-USA and Chi-na and compares two cultures, thus having embodied the thinking charm of a Chinese long influenced by the west-ern civilization and the new height and appeal of the prose attained by a veteran overseas Chinese writer.
