英汉语言学学术论文语类结构对比分析——以应用语言学博士论文文献综述语类结构研究为例

Literature Review （LR） as a genre is used to deliberate on prior findings of related topics to establish relations of one＇s own with the whole academic community by critical evaluation of literatures in order to find out ＂research gaps＂ and thus establish one＇s research territory. With reference to the pioneering study of Kwan （2006） on dissertation LRs, this paper investigates the English LRs of 20 PhD dissertations composed by mainland Chinese student writers, with an aim to reveal their generic structures and move/step configurations. The results show that the Chinese writers largely follow Kwan＇s structure models and they have an adequate com- mand of discourse conventions and paradigms of international academic communities, as is revealed both in the completeness of three LR components of introduction, body and conclusion; but also in the frequency of occurrence of individual moves and strategies. However, some degree of divergence has been found in the use of move/strategy configurations between Chinese and native scholars, knowing of which will be beneficial for us to be better integrated into the international academic community.%文献综述（LR）主要是详述所研究主题相关的前期成果,通过批判性评价前人研究找出＂研究空白＂,建立自己和整个学术社团的联系,由此构建自己的＂研究空间＂。该语类在学位论文中必不可少。本文对照Kwan（2006）LR的语类研究,对我国应用语言学20篇博士学位论文LR包含的语步及策略的语类结构和配置模式作了分析。研究结果表明,中国学位论文的LR基本符合Kwan的修辞结构模式,我国学者对于国际学术社团通行的行文惯例掌握较好,不仅表现在LR开头、正文和结尾结构的完整性上,也表现在各语步/策略的分布频率上。但是中西学者在语步/策略配置模式中存在着差异,了解这些有利于我们更好地融入国际学术社团。
