图式理论下文化背景知识对高职高专英语听力教学的影响

     

摘要

To improve the students' listening ability is an important goal of English Teaching in Higher Vocational Colleges.The improvement of English listening comprehension is not only related to grammar, vocabulary, sentence patterns, but also to the understanding of the relevant historical and cultural background knowledge of the text.So in English listening class, teachers should encourage students to learn some relevant historical and cultural background of English beside the basic language knowledge, so that students can improve the efficiency of listening and understanding through the learning of cultural background knowledge in listening materials.This paper, on the basis of schema theory, tries to discuss how to improve students' English listening level in English listening class in Higher Vocational College through the study of background knowledge.%提高学生的英语听力能力是高职高专英语课堂的重要目标.英语听力理解水平的提高,不仅需要熟练语法、词汇、句型,同时还需要听者深入了解听力文本内容相关的历史文化背景知识.因此在高职高专英语听力课堂上,英语教师在提高学生英语基础知识学习的基础上,还应鼓励学生积极的学习语言发源地相关的历史文化知识,使学生通过对相关听力材料背景文化知识的学习,来进一步提高听力的效率和理解的能力.在图式理论的基础上,分析背景知识在高职高专英语教学中的作用,进一步探讨了高职高专英语教学中如何通过背景知识的学习,来提高学生的英语听力水平.
