母语文化传承与大学英语教学的有效融合——基于大学生母语文化身份构建的视角

     

摘要

当前中国的大学英语教学过于强调英美文化的输入,忽视了中国文化的传承,造成大学生母语文化身份认同的缺失.新形势下的大学英语改革,应坚持文化导向的英语教学观,注重母语文化传播以及学生母语文化身份认同;通过发挥学校的引导和规训功能,增强学生的文化自信;同时应积极推进英语本土化研究, 加快"中国英语"进课堂的步伐;还应重视英语教师双重文化身份的构建,探索有利于增强学生母语文化表达能力的教学方式.以上途径可使大学英语教学达到掌握语言应用能力、增强母语文化认同和传播母语文化的多元目标.%The deficiency of Chinese cultural identity of college students has to do with the overemphasis on English culture input and the neglect of the inheritance of Chinese native culture in current college English teaching.To overcome this deficiency, we should: (1) adhere to the culture-oriented concept in college English teaching, (2) strengthen the transmission of Chinese culture and the construction of students' Chinese cultural identity,and (3) enhance students' confidence in Chinese culture through campus guidance and discipline.Meanwhile, we should promote the studies of nativization of English, and quicken the pace of bringing "China English" into English classes.Moreover, we should endeavor to construct the dual cultural identity of English teachers, and explore teaching methods to improve students' ability to express Chinese culture.By doing so, college students can gain English application ability, enhance Chinese cultural identity and be in a better position to spread Chinese culture.
