Based on the researches through questionnaires and interviews on English majors from 3 first-tier universi-ties and their independent colleges, the study reveals, by contrast and comparison, distinctive features in teaching and learning methods in students’ autonomous leaning situation in interpreting training. With the guidance of Gile Mode, this paper puts forward some practical suggestions to advance teaching and learning of interpretation in inde-pendent college, which is significant to improve English major’s interpreting.%本研究对江苏省南京市3所本一院校及其独立学院英专生进行网络问卷及实地调研,对比分析其在口译教与学方面的特性,并以英专生口译训练自主性学习现状为切入点,结合对吉尔模式的探究,探索提高独立院校英专生自主学习能动性和改善口译训练方法的多种可行性途径,对完善英专生的口译学习和研究意义较大。
