It is also a special language and cultural phenomenon. Its origin can be traced back from the culture psychology of clan, family or nation which has a profound history background. Names of different races are various in forms and contents. This essay expounds and proves on different aspects of Chinese and English culture based on the differences of the origins, forms and functions of names.
