高校图书馆面临的挑战与对策

University Library, an indispensable part of the education resources, plays a signifi- cant role in the development of the higher education. With the advent of knowledge - based economy and the popularity of computer network, however, more access to information is available and the li- brary, being seriously encroached by information industry, is undergoing unprecedented challenges. Still, challenges and opportunities coexist. With correctly understanding the difficulties and effective strategies, the university library is bound to win in social development.%高校图书馆在高等教育事业发展中占据着相当重要的地位，是高校教育资源中不可或缺的组成部分。随着知识经济的到来和计算机网络的不断普及，信息产业蚕食着传统图书馆的服务领地，人们获取信息的方式与途径越来越多，高校图书馆面临着前所未有的挑战。但挑战与机遇并存，高校图书馆只要正确判断当前所面临的挑战，积极应对，变革求适，就能在社会文明发展的历史中赢得广阔的空间。
