《德伯家的苔丝》中苔丝悲剧命运的源起众说纷纭。苔丝母女关系的精神分析立足于探讨苔丝悲剧产生的心理及精神层面原因，以及母女关系的共性及个性；并且，苔丝母女关系精神分析的过程实质上即是对苔丝完成自我实现过程的详细分析，有助于我们理解通过无意识和本能的分析去寻找人物行为的潜在动因和人际关系的潜在结构，从而对作品中的人物心理、性格产生的原因及人物的关系更深入探究。%In Tess oft he D＇urbervilles , Tess undoubtedly impresses the readers with her struggling and tragic fate. By means of psychoanalysis of the mother--daughter relationships, this essay is trying to discuss the psychological causes of Tess＇ tragedy and analyze the accomplishment of Tess＇ self--realization during the sufferings. Therefore, it has tried to explore and summarize the hidden triggers of the deeds of the characters in the novel, and the invisible and subtle relations between the characters. Thus helps us to gain a comprehensive insight into the unconscious, the personalities of the characters, and their relationships.
