Objective:To investigate the effects of the cross-growth titanium plate on fixing the type IV Salter-Harries epiphyses injury in animal experiment. Methods:Twenty-four healthy goats with the age of 6 to 7 weeks were randomly divided into the blank group, kirschner group and across-growth titanium plate group ( 8 goats each group ) . The animal models of the kirschner group and across-growth titanium plate group were established by kirschner drilling the distal epiphyses in two sides of humerus, which was fixed using across-growth titanium plate and kirschner, respectively. The biomechanical testing of 4 goats from each group after 8 or 12 weeks of operation were implemented and compared. Results:After 8 and 12 weeks of operation, the differences of the yield strength, maximum load, maximum elastic modulus and breaking point between blank group and across-growth titanium plate group were not statistically significant(P>0. 05),and each indicator in the two groups were better than those in kirschner group(P0.05),2组各项指标均明显优于克氏针组(P<0.01)。结论:跨生长板钛板固定Salter-HarrisⅣ型骨骺损伤能够达到有效的生物力学固定强度,为骨骺损伤愈合提供一个相对稳定的环境,有利于骨骺损伤的修复。
