英文写作说明文与议论文之比较实例探析

摘要

There are both similarities and differences between exposition and argumentation.It is found that some students cannot distinguish these two kinds of style when analyzing their English writing samples.The reasons for that are students are lack of genre consciousness and discourse knowledge,strongly influenced by the mode of English writing and writing hastily without fully comprehending the topic.The strategy of im-itating writing guided by linguistics theory of teaching discourse can overcome these problems.%说明文和议论文这两种文体既有相同之处，又有相异之处。在英文习作实例分析中，发现有些学生分不清这两种文体。其原因在于学生：（1）体裁意识淡薄；（2）语篇知识缺乏；（3）受写作模式影响严重；（4）审题不明，下笔匆忙。以教学篇章语言学理论为指导的仿写教学策略可以克服这些问题。
