风廓线雷达资料在一次短时强降水中的应用

     

摘要

运用风廓线雷达产品等对2011年8月20~ 21日西安市长安区短时强降水过程进行分析.结果表明,根据风廓线雷达产品和多普勒雷达产品在暴雨过程中的表现特征,发现在整个降水过程的不同时间段,风廓线雷达产品的水平风廓线、垂直气流和折射率结构常数以及多普勒雷达产品的组合反射率、径向速度等均表现出非常明显的特征,并且两者产品有较好的对应关系.利用雷达回波图像可以直观反映降水过程中大气的变化情况,证明了风廓线雷达产品对短时强降水有较好的预测作用.%A process of short period heavy rain on August 20 and 21, 2011 at Changan district of Xi'an was analyzed using products from the wind profile radar and Doppler radar. Based on the characteristics of these products, it has been found that the wind profile radar products such as the horizontal wind profile, the vertical air flow and structure parameter of refractive index etc. and Doppler radar products such as the composite reflectivity and wind base velocity etc. nave shown significant characteristics at different stages of the whole rainfall process. The products from the two equipments had a better corresponding relationship. Atmospheric evolutions during the heavy storm can be clearly reflected from the images of radar echo, which demonstrates that wind profile radar products play an important role in prediction of severe rainstorm.
