All kinds of bridges are located in every corner of China. Especially, the Chinese ancient bridges were warmly ornamented. They are the perfect artworks combined with technology and art. The omamentalion of the ancient bridges exhibits many Chinese traditional architectural words. From the ornamentation we can see the Chinese traditional architecture, aesthetic idea, local style, art characteristic and human spirit. Xiangzi Bridge in Chaozhou city is a historic heritage in Guangdong province. With its unique architecture and exquisite ornamentation, the famous Xiangzi bridge has the reputation being called the No.1 Bridge in southern China". And is a classic example for the local architecture ond decorative achievement In the East of Guangdong region. This ancient bridge not only represents the rich traditional Chinese culture, but also highlights the local heritage and characteristics in Choozhou.
