Objective To investigate the expressions of cyclooxygenase-2(Cox-2),β-catenin and Survivin in tongue carcinoma in order to provide important clinical evidence for early diagnosis , therapy and prognosis of tongue carcinoma .Methods The expressions of Cox-2 mRNA,β-catenin mRNA and Survivin mRNA were detected by RT-PCR in 60 cases of primary tongue carcinoma and 30 cases of normal oral mucosa , and the difference of expressions and correlation among them were analyzed .Results The expressions Cox-2 mRNA and Survivin mRNA were strongly positive in tongue cancer ,however ,which were negative in normal oral mucosa ( P <0.01 );there was a significant difference in β-catenin expression quantity between tongue cancer and normal oral mucosa ( P <0.05).The expression quantity of Cox-2 mRNA,β-catenin mRNA and Survivin mRNA in poorly differentiated tongue cancer was significantly higher than that in well-differentiated and moderately-differentiated tongue cancer ( P <0.05 ).There was a positive correlation in their expressions in tongue cancer among Cox -2,β-catenin and Survivin ( P <0.01).Conclusion Cox-2,β-catenin and Survivin play an important role in the pathogenesis and development of tongue cancer , and there maybe a synergism among Cox-2,β-catenin and Survivin .%目的研究人舌癌组织中环氧化酶-2( Cox-2)、β-连环蛋白(β-catenin )及Survivin在基因水平的表达及相互关系,为舌癌的诊断、治疗及预后提供参考依据。方法应用逆转录-聚合酶链反应( RT-PCR)方法检测Cox-2 mRNA、β-catenin mRNA及Survivin mRNA在60例舌癌和30例正常口腔黏膜中的表达情况,分析它们在舌癌组织中表达的差异性和相关性。结果 Cox-2 mRNA和Survivin mRNA在舌癌组织中呈强阳性表达,而在正常口腔黏膜均为阴性表达,差异有统计学意义( P <0.01);β-catenin mRNA在舌癌和正常黏膜中均有表达,但表达量差异有统计学意义( P <0.05)。低分化舌癌中Cox-2 mRNA、β-catenin mRNA及Survivin mRNA的表达量高于高中分化舌癌中的表达量( P <0.05)。 Cox-2、β-catenin及Survivin在舌癌中的表达相互呈正相关( P <0.01)。结论 Cox-2、β-catenin及Survivin在舌癌的发生发展过程中起重要作用,Cox-2、β-catenin及Survivin之间可能存在相互协同作用。
