British society underwent its transition during 16-18th century.Along with the political and economic status consolidated,the position and function of British nobility improved significantly in the cultural life.They has become the main appreciators,collectors and shelter in cultural and art activities,and in a large part restricted and determined British culture.%16-18世纪是英国社会的转型时期。随着政治和经济地位的巩固,英国贵族在文化生活中的地位与作用显著提高,逐渐成为文化艺术活动的主要鉴赏者、收藏者和庇护人,在很大程度上制约和决定着英国文化的方向。
