The present invention relates to a bridge-raising device incorporating a raising guide, and to a bridge-raising work method using the said bridge-raising device. The present invention comprises a bridge-raising device comprising a lower support comprising concrete; an upper support for supporting the capping part of the bridge; a hydraulic jack; and a raising guide for shielding the pillar of the bridge, and it prevents horizontal movement, inversion and twisting of the pillar during the process of raising the bridge by means of a bridge-raising method involving chipping in such a way as to expose the reinforcing bars at the bridge pillar edge, installing the lower support around the pillar of the bridge, installing the upper support in such a way as to support the capping part of the bridge, installing a plurality of hydraulic jacks on the lower support, cutting the pillar, installing the provided raising guide on the pillar, and then using the hydraulic jacks to raise the bridge, raising it to a predetermined height while improving safety by inserting auxiliary props, every time that the bridge is raised by a predetermined height, in the space which is additionally created while the pillar is being raised which is to say the space between the raising support and the upper support and the pillar space which resulted on cutting the pillar, placing and joining reinforcement bars in the raised pillar space, installing a form which makes intimate contact with and shields the cut pillar, casting concrete on the inside and allowing it to cure, removing the installed form and bridge-raising device, and then finishing the surface to complete the procedure.
