Vocational skill competition as an important content and core of reform of vocational education, follow"serve as pur-pose, principles of employment-oriented", with the results of testing and demonstrating teaching, training and motivating skills, strong soldiers, lead and promote the skills of heavy moral weight function of social values, has become an important sword of voca-tional education reform and development. This paper takes our college management engineering project management training base for example, to optimize the training room through skills competitions to further optimize the appropriate course of practice teach-ing, to build high-quality skilled training personnel training room application of vocational college.%职业技能竞赛作为高职院校职业教育的一项重要内容和改革的核心，遵循“以服务为宗旨、以就业为导向”的原则，具有检验和展示教学成果、培养和激励技能强兵、引领和弘扬重技能重道德社会风气的功能，已成为高职教育改革和发展的重要利剑。本文以我院管理工程学院工程管理实训基地为例，通过技能竞赛来优化本实训室从而进一步优化相应课程的实践教学，进而构建培养高素质技能型应用人才的高职院校实训室。
