There are various means of generating contour in the topography surveying and mapping, which are conventional, time and human resource consuming and unsatisfactory in accuracy. With the advent of airborne LiDAR, contour generation based on its highly accurate point cloud data turns out to be a good option. This paper generates contours using Global Mapper, GeoTIN, JX — 4C, Tin-dem, VirtuoZo and TerraScan software respectively based on the processing of point cloud data acquired by airborne LiDAR system in an effort to find out the most scientific and rational method through analysis and comparison. The results show contours generated by Tindem software can meet the requirement of topography and quality if the parameters thereof are properly set.%在地形图测绘中,等高线的获取有多种手段,但其方法都较为传统,费时费力,精度也不尽如人意.随着机载激光LiDAR的出现,利用其高精度的点云数据快速获取等高线是一种很好的途径.本研究利用机载LiDAR系统采集的点云数据,通过对点云数据处理,分别使用Global Mapper,GeoTIN,JX-4C,Tindem,VirtuoZo和TerraScan等六种软件生成等高线,通过分析、比较,找出最为科学、合理的方法.结果表明,在采用Tindem生成等高线时,设置合适的参数,就能生成符合地形要求、质量最佳的等高线.
