自20世纪60年代起，绿色研究开始在全球范围内产生影响。在它延续到文学批评领域以后，西方学者围绕着命名问题进行了激烈的争论，力图在生态和环境这两个前缀之间做出最好的选择。为了敞开其中的内在线索，本文追溯了环境和生态概念的起源和演变，发现这种“文学研究的绿色分支”事实上已经超越了环境主义立场，开始明确地告别弱人类中心论。这对我们建构生态文明具有巨大的启发意义。%The Green Studies has been a booming area in Western cul-ture since the 1960 s.When it was noticed and then accepted by literary crit-ics, a hot debate on its naming has been carried out .Scholars argue for mak-ing a better choice between its prefixes eco and environ .For differentiating the meaning of these two prefixes and their inner connotations , the present ar-ticle traces back to the origin and development of the concept of environment and ecology , proposing that “the green branch of literary studies” has tran-scended the positions of environmentalism and weak anthropocentrism . It would be greatly helpful for us to construct China ’ s eco-civilization.
